Sorry, looking again, it seems like I gave the impression that I was trolling. I wasn't. It was just a quick question. Many people seeing this would think, "Is there a serious use case for this, or is it just a project to show the power of Node.js?" The README doesn't say anything one way or another, so it is hard to tell.

Supporting different environments is a perfectly reasonable use case, and that answers my question. Thanks.
