Scope

As part of the evolution of yBudget, there is a need for a dedicated team for Treasury operations, asset management, and guidelines.

We propose yRoboTreasury, a team that will automate these tasks initially and later maintain and adjust them as needed. The aim is for the team not to use a multi-sig for any of these tasks.

Plan

Build Mode: Bootstrap yRoboTreasury

• Automate the asset selling process for treasury management. Set up an auction system for asset conversion.
  • Plan: Explore a continuous design with fixed lot sizes and a variety of available tokens.
• Create budget request payment scripts. A periodic script to send payments for approved requests.
• Propose treasury holding guidelines. Gather feedback and draft guidelines for asset types to be held. Subject to yBudget approval. These guidelines will inform the automated selling process.
• Propose farming guidelines. Gather feedback and draft guidelines for permissible farming activities with treasury assets. Subject to yBudget approval. These guidelines will inform yFARM's process.

Maintenance Mode: Ongoing Tasks

• Execute occasional one-off trades.
• Run budget request payment scripts periodically.
• Claim/withdraw from split contracts as required.
• Monitor treasury composition to ensure compliance with holding guidelines.
• Propose updates to guideline documents as needed, subject to yBudget approval.
