I'm unable to install some packages on my system. Unfortunately, I have no idea if it's related to TinyTex or to a problem on CTAN or my system.

If I try to get some information for a package, I get:

$ sudo tlmgr info tcolorbox
query_ctan_mirror: Programs not set up, trying wget
cannot contact mirror.ctan.org, returning a backbone server!

Perhaps the problem is the following: I kept my TinyTex installation, but I changed my linux distribution. Because Tinytex was on a separated partition, I was able to keep it. If I have to reinstall everything, there is no problem. But I must be sure I can reinstall everything. This week tlmgr updated some packages but did not complete all updates, and my latex system was broken.

After you change your OS, you probably need to reinstall TinyTeX in the new system. If you want to reinstall all LaTeX packages that were previously installed in the old system, you may get a list of package names in the old system---see the command in FAQ 11: https://yihui.org/tinytex/faq/
