GNOME Desktop skipping frames/lagging alot with rounded-window-corners enabled.

I was going through each extension, checking to see if it was an extension causing the lag, and it turned out to be rounded window corners. The lag instantly disappeared after turning it off. Is there a way to fix this?

I am also using Blur My Shell, just to clarify since the extension has been reported to have issues with rounded-window-corners.
