File transfer in windows is not working

Everything works just fine when the code is run on Linux, but when i try to run the code on windows everything compiles and starts up fine but during transfer first the number of files is transferred followed by each file. To receive each files first the length of the filename is received and followed by the filename then the size of the file is transferred in bytes followed by the file. But in windows for some reason the program breaks while receiving the filename length and i could not find the reason
