Hi,

Looks like AMI 2023 was released and 2022 never made it out of preview. Can you update to 2023?

Thanks,
Chuck

I second this request, any chance of getting a hold of an AL2023.exe installer for WSL?

AL2023_Makefile.txt

Took the liberty to try update the Makefile in this repo to build the latest version of AL2023 (2023.0.20230614.0) and I have successfully built an AL2023 WSL installer

image

git clone https://github.com/yosukes-dev/AmazonWSL.git
cp AL2023_Makefile.txt AmazonWSL/Makefile
cd AmazonWSL
make

This builds and outputs the file AL2023.zip

I forked the repo and have it setup and almost have it setup to build on the SNS notification of a new Amazon Linux release so I can auto build a new release.

Link attempts to install unrelated software. I don't recommend using it.
