Hello,

regarding this group post:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/ioio-users/u71UrdR4bzg

I would like to suggest a feature, which enables the user to choose the behaviour of the IOIO in a way, that one can choose if the digital I/Os persists its states on disconnection of the android device.

thx Chris

preserving the I/O states would be great. Two more simple things would make it a perfect automation tool for inexperienced hackers like me:

a) providing a loading mechanism for stand-alone code onto the IOIO controller (preferrably with access to the existing IOIO firmware functions) and b) an option to turn on the stand-alone code in case of disconnection. With my limited knowledge a) shouldn't be much effort as there a firmware loader already does exist and b) shouldn't be much more than variable controlled by the Android device if connected to the IOIO board.
