Is anyone having the same issue?
I tried to download songs as mp3 files with the best audio (320 kBit/s in the case of YouTube) and eventought i tried parameters like "--audio-quality 0", "-f bestaudio", I couldn't get any mp3 file at 320 kBit/s. They were usually around 256kBit/s and some even really low. Eventhough i always used "--audio-format mp3" it also gave me other formats sometimes. So I dont know if it is an issue on my end or if something is broken. The website i used before it got shut down, used to give me 320 kBit/s so it is supported by YouTube.

You'll have to convert it to a 320kbps MP3 if that's what you want. YouTube hasn't used MP3s in YEARS and has instead opted for 128kbps Opus or M4A. Any website that provided you with a high bitrate MP3 from youtube must've done the above... or worse, it provided a 128kbps MP3 stored in a 320kbps file, wasting space.
Use -f bestaudio[ext=webm] to prioritize Opus audio (highest quality codec atm), then use your favorite parameters to convert it to MP3/desired format, or leave it as is.
