Hello, I would like youtube-dl to support the Simon Fraser University streaming service. It is used for recorded seminars and other events.

If you were able to generate a HAR archive of your browser session from the opening example URL to viewing the video, it would facilitate this. You could post it as a gist.

Or ask SFU staff if they can support a download or catch-up service.
