Same thing happening to the Miniplayer.

I can also reproduce this issue. Interestingly, it also happens for the Settings window, except that resizing doesn't resolve it (so I'm locked out of Settings). I'm also running Arch Linux, with the i3 window manager. I'd be happy to provide more information if it would help troubleshoot this issue.

Also on Arch running KDE, for me the loading issue is only for the Settings, can't open Settings for now, and resizing the Settings window doesn't help.

EDIT: After uninstalling and reinstalling, I get the same infinite loading issue every time I open ytmdesktop.

Can confirm behaviour on latest update:
ezgif-2-5abfea3489
Manjaro
YTMDesktop: 1.13.0

+1, also on Arch. Here's the AUR package:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ytmdesktop

ytmdesktop: 1.13.0
node: v12.22.10 (npm v6.14.16)
Electron: 17.1.0 https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/electron/
x11: 21.1.3

Same issue here, Arch+KDE

Console output:

$ ytmdesktop
Gtk-Message: 09:26:03.667: Failed to load module "appmenu-gtk-module"
[415284:0401/092604.007642:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(377)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process.
(node:415138) MaxListenersExceededWarning: Possible EventEmitter memory leak detected. 11 change listeners added to [EventEmitter]. Use emitter.setMaxListeners() to increase limit
(Use `electron --trace-warnings ...` to show where the warning was created)
09:26:12.182 › Listen: Schlafen - Computer Data

Also always the same song is reported in the title, but sometimes a different song is being played. Listening to multiple songs does not fix that, only resizing the window a few times (it's not fixed on the first resize).

ytmdesktop 1.13.0-13 from AUR
electron 17.2.0-1
x64 (Ryzen)

Edit: Also for me, reinstalling does not fix the issue.

Have you managed to find a way to enter the settings? I'm also locked out of them due to the infitnite loading bug.

today i upgraded ytmdesktop (1.13.0-13 -> 1.14.1-1), it also involved building a new nvm build (not sure why, maybe due to the AUR package), and anyway, that seems to fix this issue for me!
although i will add, i now have the much worse issue that i can't login, seems this is a common issue: #866 .

I have not found a way to enter the settings and the multimedia controls for KDE don't work anymore. The most recent update fixed the main window but the issue with the settings window remains.

Edit: Because I am still signed in I would rather not try to reproduce the sign in issue, but I had issues with signing in in the past.

Edit 2: Sorry, seems like the multimedia control issue was temporary, I don't know its origin but it's likely not related.

Still present for me, too. As a side effect of rebuilding/reinstalling, I seem to have lost localized labels as well. This is my taskbar right-click menu now:

Just wanted to confirm that settings, miniplayer and lyrics windows are still affected by the infinite loading screen on latest release v1.14.2

Localized labels issues are still present as well.

As stated in the change logs this is still present. I made it clear that this is a known issue still 😅

On Fedora 37 (KDE), the window is stuck loading with the latest nightly build (1.14.2). Resizing the window does NOT fix this. I tried building it and same issue.

EDIT: This happens on 1.13.0 too

On v1.14.2 miniplayer infinite load is an issue on mac M1 Sonoma 14.0 as well. Everything else opens fine, as for miniplayer - resizing does not help, can't move the window either, album cover changes on song change and double click to quick forward or rewind do work.
