Description

Issue:

  • Currently yugabyted status says running when the yb-processes are up.
  • In a docker environment, when deploying a multi-node cluster, pg_isready is used as a healthcheck for the containers.
  • When restarting all the nodes in docker environment, the healthcheck doesn't return success as all the nodes haven't been started yet.

Proposal:

  • Integrate pg_isready healthcheck to yugabyted status cpmmand and use yugabyted status as the healthcheck.
  • The case restart of a cluster will be handled by yugabyted.
