Today, pg_stat_statements extension is used to maintain statistics on queries being executed on each YSQL node. We want to provide a cluster wide view of this data.
The idea is to have each YSQL server emit these metrics periodically to a metrics table and then be able to retrieve these cluster wide metrics via SQL statements / view.
