It just says "Error creating file: Operation not permitted" when I select an audio file to use. Also the option to disable the Phone permission for System UI is greyed out and not available. Maybe there's a way to disable that permission through ADB? I am on ColorOS btw

As said in the app description on play store, "on heavily modified versions of android (OneUI, MIUI, EMUI, ColorOS etc.) Not all features will work" I presume that UI sounds are one of these that won't work

I am on a stock Pixel 6 Pro (android 12 "S") and receive the same error message. Root with latest stable Magisk.

This likely isn't something I can fix, unfortunately. Android only accepts file paths for the sound files, and those files have to be in a location that isn't encrypted before the device is unlocked for the first time. I haven't been able to find a path where I can write and the OS can read before decrypting.
