web clipper check doesn't find server #1

my server is running on port 8080. i can get to the login page on the browser. I enter the port in option and hit save. close options. click on the toolbar icon and click check and get "not found".

Just downloaded the server beta and the latest firefox extension. linux ubuntu desktop.

In the above, I tried to use the local server. I then started the desktop client and it uses port 37840, which isn't in the range you check. I haven't changed/customized the desktop so not sure why it selects something not in the detail range. After I set the port check found the desktop.

Also, just tried the connection to the server and this time it worked.

It says on the extension configuration page that it only auto-detects desktop trilium installs, not server ones...
