Improve visibility of active calendar days (days that have a corresponding note in journal)

This small tweak aims to improve visibility for 'active' calendar days since underlining them is definitely not enough for me.

To apply the tweak, place this in your custom css theme:

.calendar-dropdown-widget .calendar-date-exists{
    color: deepskyblue;
}

You can further customize it to your liking by changing color or adding more rules.

Any idea why this does not work on MacOS? Version 0.60.4 installed using homebrew. Works fine on my fedora laptop.

Maybe try using dev tools to see how the css selector is called? (Ctrl+Shift+I)

In my case it's .calendar-dropdown-widget .calendar-date-exists.

I tested this on Mac, adding "!important" helps for me. Make sure the CSS note has #appCss and you need to reload the frontend (CTRL-R) afterwards. I don't think this is platform specific, though. (could be a difference between server and desktop builds though)

dev tools is cool. I was able to fix a custom font issue I have been having. :-)

I learned that if I add the tweak above via dev tools it works as expected. To me, it appears my #appCss note (Type: code (text/css)) named 'CSS Tweaks' is not being read by my Mac client. Closer inspection shows my other tweaks that work on the linux client are not working on the Mac. I brought up the web page and they are not there either. Other tools like tables from Collection Views are working on the Mac. A difference I see there is their #appCss is a file/css type. Could that be the problem?

Using the web interface also doesn't pick up the css change for me.

Code / CSS should certainly work. Dev tools network tab could be used to make sure that Trilium / Chromium / Blink loads the #appCss file and recognizes it as CSS ...

@zadam Thank you for your patience and guidance, I was able to determine the issue. On linux, # comments worked but on the Mac I needed to use /* */

I'm off to abuse Trilium-Py some more.
