Need For Speed™ II SE (non-glide) - patched game which runs on modern hardware (with TCP protocol).

General notes

Download game files from "Release" section and unpack. Copy fedata and gamedata from original Need For Speed 2 Special Edition CD to directory with unpacked files. Be sure that these directories and its contetns are writable.

Wine notes

  • screen resolution is not changed on Wine - if the game runs too slow, change screen resolution manually (game uses 640x480),
  • if keyboard doesn't work, press Alt-Tab to focus game window,
  • if game won't start, kill the process and start again.
