Often, it is useful to bundle data summaries and reports (PDFs, images, etc) alongside large datasets from which they are derived. In a Zarr directory store, on can in principle save arbitrary objects into the directory alongside the Zarr folder structure. Is this a good idea, or could arbitrary "blob" storage be a feature of a Zarr archive in future?
