One of the TODO items in spec v3 is the process around adding codec.
Once #12 is resolved a link should be added in V3 "Chunk encoding" section.

May want to add a placeholder spec for each of the codec we want to support.

  • blosc ,lz4, zstd...

It's not clear what the current status of the codec specs is. They are not yet explicitly included in ZEP1 (it is specifically left open if they should be included). And they are not yet linked to the core spec. I think it would be good to
