I want to translate the book to chinese , but I can't open the book.

To render the math, you need to install mdbook-katex. After that, either mdbook build book/ or mdbook serve book/ should work fine.

As far as translating it, mdBook doesn't have multilingual support yet (rust-lang/mdBook#5), but it's likely that rust-lang/mdBook#1306 will be what adds it, so we could potentially start using that branch for building the book.

There are also parts of the book that might change going forward, so we should have a plan for how to approach translations, and track what revision translations are accurate to.
