I am working to identify the cause of document conversions failing recently. By all indications it seems to be coming from the latest LibreOffice build. I can't say for sure, but until I get a chance to try it myself that's where I would start.

It appears as though the problem fixed itself?

Not sure what happened. I have been updating my machines regularly (as everyone should) and perhaps that had something to do with it?

Either way, it's comforting to finally see that the fortifications I've made to cloudCore document conversions seem to hold up. My dev server started unoconv by itself, without daemon's or cron's, and even gathers PID info for running document engines for the logs.

Fingers crossed that it holds up! Maybe I'll include my Unoconv with HRC2 so we have a forever working snapshot? Any thoughts?
