Instructions for uploading new datasets
To upload a new dataset into Zenvisage, click on the "+" button on the left-hand panel on the Zenvisage webapp.
** Select csv file
Click on the "Choose dataset file" button to select a csv file. Note that all csv files loaded to Zenvisage must have data attribute names as the header of the file. Next, type in the name of the dataset and click "upload".
After csv file selection, Zenvisage will automatically parse data attributes from the header information of the csv. Axis and data types of each attribute will be auto selected, but users can override with their configurations. To override, simply select or deselect checkboxes to include or discard certain attributes from an axis. Similarly, selecting data types of "int", "float", or "string" from the dropdown will specify how Zenvisage should parse the data. Click "Set attributes" when finished.
A popup will show up after uploading the dataset is loaded successfully. To load a dataset for exploration, select the dataset under the dropdown menu in the Dataset panel.
