We deployed some issuers in different namespace. Some of them are still not ready after hours.

Below is the status when I describe it.

I found some likely report here cert-manager/cert-manager#5867

How could we resolve it?

I've been in contact with the zerossl support and so far the outcome is:

  • zerossl won't fix it on their side
  • zerossl won't disclose rate limit specifics

For now it seems like we need to get it fixed in cert-manager or either replace zerossl or cert-manager.

We also have that problem with cert-manager

The certificate request has failed to complete and will be retried: Failed to wait for order resource ... to become ready: order is in "errored" state: Failed to create Order: 429 : 429 Too Many Requests
