How do you feel about moving this or have a maintained copy of this in an organization ?
I think it would be better to have them all in one organization.

As a recommendation we could use https://github.com/awesomeorg

Could this be done without breaking links? Does github leave a redirect in place as with simple repo rename?

It won't break anything, github will automatically redirect https://github.com/ziadoz/awesome-php -> https://github.com/awesomeorg/awesome-php

It will be just like renaming a repo.

It would be nice to group all awesome lists together, such as https://github.com/kahun/awesome-sysadmin

Yes @lmuzinic that is the idea of this. I have opened a issue on most of the awesome-* projects i could find.

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it, but I've put a lot of my spare time into making this list, and there's still a bunch more stuff I'd like to do with it in the future, so I wouldn't be interested in merging it into an organisation.

You're more than welcome to maintain a copy of it there if you want though — that is, after all, why I put it on Github.
