General Description

As you can see in the video, clicking on something does activate the setting. For example I clicked on Dark Mode and nothing changed in the Settings dialog, while after relaunching the GUI changed to white.
There were a couple times that when I clicked on the SearchBar that it would show the dropdown, but cannot always repro.

See also that the spinning load icon at right top bottom is frozen aswell.

How To Reproduce?

  1. Have settings dialog open
  2. minimize Wasabi
  3. click Quit on taskbar icon
  4. open Wasabi via navbar icon

maybe #10730 ?

FYI, cannot repro on #10874, as it uses different logic, but the bug should still be fixed before it's merged, I think

Can't repro on Mac, the feature works as expected.

I can repro 100% of times in Ubuntu.

OK, this is an Avalonia issue: AvaloniaUI/Avalonia#11850

There's nothing in our hands to fix it right now.

I have a workaround, but involves not setting the WindowState in Linux and let the user restore the application window manually. It's up to the team to decide what to do.

@kekekeks from Avalonia has suggested a workaround for the issue and I've created a PR with it. #10921
