I have about 41 "Rewrite the sentence" suggestions in the Problems tab.

I click on one of them, and in the document, I hover over it to see "This sentence appears to be [...] passive voice [...]. Consider[...]active voice"

Sometimes I fix it, but right now I am happy with just 41. Anyway, I went into settings to toggle the settings "Flag use of passive voice" OFF. I turned it off under User, Workspace and Folder. I even restarted vscode and verified it's off.

But I still get the same 41 "Rewrite the sentence" problems.

(1) Why is this not ignoring passive voice as I expected
(2) I wouldn't mind if the problems tab had more detail than "Rewrite the sentence". Actually I like to go back sometimes and try to rewrite the passive sentence, but it's not a priority. I rather prioritize "Rewrite the sentence" associated with too wordy or rearrange, but I have to click the problem and jump to the document and hover to see which type of "Rewrite the sentence" it is.

I am having this same issue but with the 'informal pronouns academic' setting. I am deliberately setting this to false with academic set as my domain but these errors are still appearing. I'm having to select academic as technical is no longer an option and i am a technical writer so i need most of those errors but the use of you is totally fine.

Seems some of the settings are not working properly and being overriden by the domain.

I'd like to reopen this as I am having the same issue on Ubuntu.
