Allow users to sync their playback state (position, pause/play...).

+1, this is a make or break feature me me and some friends. We have nothing but issues with plex sync sometimes.

Maybe worth another issue, but, it would also be great if you could download a video in advanced, and then group watch that. We have some friends with very slow internet. And even though they can download the video in advanced, it's not possible to use that local copy for group watching in Plex.

I'll try to include basic watch together for the next release but no promise yet.

Downloaded video watch together would be nice but require more work.
