SETTING UP CRON JOBS after bundle update add maintenance tasks to Cron tab by running on unix system, from console in this app’s root directory run “whenever -i” to see path to cron task log location.
from console run ‘whenever -h’ for help
run ‘whenever -w’ to setup crontab
run ‘whenever –update-crontab chicageaux(or the name you have changed project to locally)’ from the
root of your project to apply changes you have make to the schedule.rb file.
run ‘whenever –clear-crontab chicageaux(or the name you have changed project to locally) from the root of your project to apply changes you have to make to the scehdule.rb file.
