I love barcodes - and the bulk scan feature really makes them useful. But why does the app not have a "copy history to clipboard" feature? - Would be so handy!

Some controls (separate entries by comma, tab, line break; insert x lines between the entries) would be nice, but are not essential.

Not a bad idea. I'd rather not complicate the UI, but it may be the only way.

Right now it just triggers an SEND intent with a mailto: link, and Android supplies the handlers. I guess that does not include "Copy to clipboard", which would be great. I don't know how to make that an option.

It could automatically copy to clipboard (this is what the main scanner does). That might be the next-best answer, as it's existing behavior, even if some people don't like it automatically doing so.

There could be a new button. Not bad, though I like avoiding more UI buttons.

Your UI is so slimline and clearly arranged - one more button will not cause any harm.
And I wasted 2 hrs to find a solution how to get the history contents to other apps...
