I am an Accounting and Finance graduate whose passion for tech led to a bumpy career path… After I graduated, I landed a job as an auditor and decided to pursue an MSc in E-Business and Digital Marketing to dive a little deeper in the digital landscape.
While studying the more technical areas of Digital Marketing (like performance, market research and analytics) and the applications of Data Science methods in e-Business I realized that this was my calling. I was constantly studying analytics and all things data that I could get my hands on. With the completion of my MSc, the next steps were obvious: a) land a developer job and b) start a MSc in Data Science. That led me to Veltio’s Demand Forecasting team and to University of Macedonia, for the MSc in Business Analytics and Data Science.
After finishing my second MSc I was assigned with to create an analytics practice as a Senior Data Scientist for KPMG Greece, managing a team of data professionals and developing analytics, automation and forecasting solutions to support Digital Transformation across the firm and for clients from multiple industries.
Currently I am a Senior Data Engineer for Accenture Greece, where I maintain and enhance ETL pipelines for banking and finance industry clients and I lead a team of five other Data Engineers which is responsible for the whole reporting process of a Major Greek Bank's Data Warehouse.
