The footprints for DB9 male and female parts currently in this library do not seem to match any parts currently in production. The catalogue provided for the DB9 parts is for a product no longer made. These footprints should be updated to match current parts that are in production.
Here's an example of a very common DB9 part: http://www.assmann-wsw.com/fileadmin/datasheets/ASS_4888_CO.pdf
Every part I've found matches those dimensions, and so they should be considered when updating the footprint.

For the time being, does anyone know of a workaround part on a service like SnapEDA?
