This is a little project made to EDUCEM in ASIX2x3, the objective is control the processes of the student or the worker and increase the productivity, also help to have always at hand the most important tools and software in Windows Operating Systems. It can be also a good tool to make life easier to teachers and IT Administrators. It could be an extra complement to a proxy in the OS part.
The projects was necesarry to develop it in 3 parts, but I developed in 4 parts to make it strong and more complete.
- A Web API to get processes from the database.
- A desktop application in client Windows OS.
- A middleware in the OS background as a Windows Service, this is used to communicate the desktop app between the API.
- A Web administration, to create, edit, consult and delete the information from the database.
All this project has been developed with Open Source Software. I have used the .NET Platform to develop my project in the server and also in the client side. For a resume of technologies, see the next list:
