Including Solid Chat Tools #226
base: main
Are you sure you want to change the base?

I presume this is for general Solid chat, and in that case probably better to link to https://gitter.im/solid/chat instead of Gitter's home/explore. Twitter and ActivityPub fediverse have variety of hashtags floating around which also serve as a beacon for people to gather for chat. What do you think about mentioning those? |
Yes, good idea re: https://gitter.im/solid/chat link Do you have a collection of the Twitter and ActivityPub fediverse hashtags? |
But also link to solid/app-development -- Developing solid apps; using solid with various UI frameworks sold/node-solid-server -- The node-based solid server specifically |
maybe something like "For serious questions, got to the forum, see if they are already there, and i not ask them there so the answers can be reused by others." “do introduce yourself and your project and catch up with what people are up to on gitter. Here are three channels: ...." |
Cross posting from gitter: It might be good to have a landing page that provides the options and gives brief pointers for different needs. SAFE has a website of its own which aims to do this alongside Maidsafe's own site, although I don't often share that because I'm usually responding to something more specific. But for public events I think that's a good way to guide people. The equivalent here would be to have a Solid website separate from Inrupt, which is a good landing spot for anyone and links to everything else. |
Perhaps we could talk about the chat tools here insted solid-contrib/information#8 |
There are a few chat tools being used by the Solid community and wanted to update the information here so newcomers are aware.
