Quber

Rails adapter for the Qube.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'quber'

And then execute:

$ bundle install

Make available enviroment variables:

Set in the Rails config Qube adapter:

# config/application.rb
config.active_job.queue_adapter = :quber

Expose HTTP-endpoint to receive tasks back:

# config/routes.rb
# ...
mount Quber::Rack.new, at: '/_jobs'
# ...

Usage

Use as usual job:

$ bin/rails generate job welcome_message
class WelcomeMessageJob < ApplicationJob
  queue_as :default

  def perform(user)
    # Do something later
  end
end

Note: when you set queue_as as :some_name the Qube will create tube with :some_name and put the task into this tube.
