Using Asciinema

Introduction

Asciinema is great application to record and share your terminal sessions. This console screencasts can be played in any modern browsers without any special plugins.

Installation

opkg install asciinema

Configuration

Configuration is optional. You may edit description or delete uploaded screencasts after authorization.

• Authorize on https://asciinema.org/
• Authenticate installed asciinema instance by typing:

asciinema auth

and proceeding a link from terminal.

Recording

When you are ready to record, type:

asciinema

Record some terminal work then press Ctrl+d or type exit to stop. Asciinema will ask you can about uploading new screencast.
