The MayDay Button is setup to allow end users to run the typical commands you as their IT guy might have to run if you are troubleshooting. For example: you have a recipte printer plugged into your POS that is always acting up. One day it decides it doesn’t want to print after a jam, or maybe it just hates you. The MayDay button will automatically reset all printer related tasks, spools, and does it’s best to notify the end user that, ‘Hey. Maybe, it’s out of paper. And when you replaced it you never closed its popup telling you, that you were out of paper.’ In doing so it aims to help teach the user to not rely solely on calling you when you are out with your family enjoying a nice day off.
