DutchTop40

Welcome to my dutch_top40 gem! This is a simple CLI scraper of http://top40.nl and will list you the current weeks ranking. At startup it will show you the current listing. You have the option to select a title by typing in its number, it will show you the 'title', 'performing artist(s), weeks in the list and last weeks position in the list. type list to re-diplay the list or exit to quit.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'dutch_top40'

And then execute:

$ bundle install

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install dutch_top40

Usage

Usage is pretty simple. At startup current ranking will be displayed. More info on a title is obtained by entering its ranking number. Type 'exit' to quit or 'list' to redisplay the list. New version of the hitlist is released on Saturday.

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
