The tutorial will take place at the MancJS meetup in August, on the 7th at 7pm in TechHub Manchester.
- Jekyll
- A modern web browser, ideally Google Chrome because of it's excellent inspector
Before the session starts I will push the following staged branches to help walk through the process:
- stage-0 the basic application
- stage-1 an offline appcache file to trigger offline mode
- stage-2 css attached to the appcache to render properly when offline
- stage-3 application working online after breaking between stages 0-2
- stage-4 application works fully offline
- stage-5 changes to the JS application and how to make sure we update our code
- stage-6 letting the user know that there's a change
- stage-7 localStorage to save the state of our application
