NEW LEARNING MODEL USERS, PLEASE READ

Project Location and Funding

This model is formally named “Learning in Emerging Energy Industries,” and is related to the Biomass Scenario Model. It was built in Golden, CO within NREL's Strategic Energy Analysis Center This work was funded by the United States Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office under Contract No. DE-AC36-08-GO28308

User Guidance

Software

Model validated with STELLA 10.0.6. Model coverted to STELLA Pro-Architect 1.6 for compatibility with current STELLA versions. See ISEE Systems for documentation and training related to the STELLA software.

Trial Version Will Allow:
  • Running the Learning Model
  • Changes to assumptions in the user interface
Trial Version Will Not Allow:
  • Importing of data
  • Saving changes to the model
Full Version Will:
  • Allow access to all the features of the Learning Model.

Interacting with the Learning Model Development Team

Please refer to the published literature on the BSM for general information. We are open to questions unanswered in the literature and unrelated to troubleshooting GitHub and STELLA. Please email bsm@nrel.gov.

Users can download the latest version of the Learning Model from the GitHub repository: https://github.com/NREL/bsm-learning/releases
