OAWidget for rails
========

OAWidget as in "Orion's Apotomo Widget"
This widget is the base for other OA widgets.


Pre-requisits
=============

Rails 2.3.8+, see: http://rubyonrails.org/
Apotomo, see: http://apotomo.de
jQuery, see: http://jquery.com/


Install
=======

$ cd my_rails_app
$ ./script/plugins install git://github.com/Orion98MC/oa_widget.git

Then, you have to sync the public resources of the plugin to your app's public directory:

$ rake oa_widget:sync_resources



! Important note About jQuery !
-------------------------------

AOWidget uses jQuery. If you use prototype which is the default in rails 2.3.8, then add the following to your application layout file:

in app/views/layouts/application.html.haml
...
  %head
    ...
    = javascript_include_tag 'jquery-1.4.2.min'
    = javascript_tag "jQuery.noConflict();"
