Hey, I'm Robin 🐤

I am a Front-End Developer based in Toronto, Canada. I'm especially interested in shipping well-tested, responsive web applications and websites while using the latest Front End technology available!

What I'm looking for in my new role:

  • I would like work on a team where pairing is encouraged for all levels
  • Be part of a diverse team
  • Highly communicative team that spreads positivity and knowledge
  • Implements an agile workflow
  • Relevant and latest tech(where needed)

Work

Felix Health

  • Built out UI sections of a new feature which garnered a 22% increase in overall sign-ups within the first week of release. I used Tailwind CSS and Vue.js
  • Improved the agile workflow and communication on my team by creating a new template using Linear
  • Contributed to the team's documentation of software, Front End Data flow and structure diagram in Notion

Jumbleberry

  • 1 of 3 Front End Developers that worked on a full web application re-design and release on behalf of stakeholders. I removed un-used styles and third-party UI library code, replaced it with Tailwind CSS and relocated and re-factored logic using JavaScript and Vue
  • Created diagrams and RFC's that were used to shape the culture and benchmarks of the Front End team
  • Wrote unit tests using Mocha, Chai and Vue test utils

Sears

  • Assisted content teams in producing landing pages in French and English for production
  • Scheduled new content to release weekly on a large scale CMS

I'm currently learning:

Nuxt.js: It's an awesome framework on top of an already awesome framework, Vue! So far I have built a small static site and plan on building some more this year.
