DS4Windows is a utility designed to bring the Sony DualShock 4 game controllers into popular PC games that don't specifically support it. The magic is done by mapping the DS4 into an emulated XBox controller.
This system is powerful. With it, you can map the controller the way you want, with default and per-game profiles, configuration of the lightbar, and more. Supports USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Virtually everything on the DualShock 4 is supported offering rumble support, touchpad mapping as mouse or any input and accelerometer and gyro mapping or server for other uses. DS4 audio only works on USB with generic BT doogles. If you want controller audio over BT, then an oficial Playstation BT Doogle is needed.
Please view the help guide to the right if you need assistance installing and setting up DS4Windows, with or without the optional HIDGuardian (not part of DS4Windows).
Keep in mind, XBox controller emulation doesn't magically make on-screen button hints appear like Playstation button hints. This shouldn't bother most people after a few weeks of use. If you prefer the Playstation button hints, request proper Dualshock 4 support from the game developers.
