Tools:


TEsound: Makes loading and playing sounds in Love2D less painful. Includes features like looping, tagging sounds, changing sounds based on tag, and advanced volume controls.


TLbind: Abstracts raw inputs into simple and super-customizable controls. Includes default Xbox controller support, high-quality deadzone, automatic serial/analogue conversion, moving faster diagonally prevention, etc. You never have to type "love.keyboard.isDown" again.


Tcontent: Experimental metatable-based on-demand dynamic asset loader / memory manager. Used hashmaps to allow Tserial fast serialization of userdata.
Usage example:
 love.load()
  require"Tcontent"                   -- load the library
  ship = Tcontent.image["ship.png"]   -- make a newImage from /image/ship.png on first call, from memory on all subsequent calls (until nothing equals ship, then it's garbage collected)

  love.graphics.draw(ship, 50, 100)  -- doesn't newImage, it's already in memory
  love.graphics.draw(Tcontent.image["ship.png"], 50, 50)  -- still doesn't newImage, it's already in memory

Tserial: Converts tables into strings. That way you can save tables to files, or send them across a network. Currently only supports tables with keys that are strings or numbers, and values that are strings, numbers, tables, or booleans.
- TSerialize(table) returns a string of the Lua code which will recreate the table.
- To deserialize, use loadstring("table="..serial)().


TLibCompress: Can zip andd unzip strings, reducing their size. A good way to save bandwidth when sending strings across a network.
- TLibCompress.CompressLZW(string) returns a zipped string
- TLibCompress.UncompressLZW(string) returns an unzipped version of a zipped string
