In order to ensure that people are able to see how well their bot performs relative to the other people who decide to participate in the contest, we encourage people not to share bot code that goes beyond the functionality of a starter bot until final submissions are closed.

It is still alright, in fact highly encouraged, for people to share strategy ideas and general tools that people can use, both to improve their bot or enable easier development and debugging.
