What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit 
http://www.sullivansgardenmachinery.co.uk/Strimmers-Trimmers/Mitox-270-MT-Multi-
Tool-MIMT01
2. Right click on add to cart button and view image
3. You will see that url look like this: 
http://www.sullivansgardenmachinery.co.uk/components/com_virtuemart/"themes/defa
ult/images/add-to-cart_blue.gif"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using (please check X-Mod-Pagespeed
header)?
X-Mod-Pagespeed: 0.9.1.1-171

On what operating system?
CentOS 64bit

Which version of Apache?
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS)

I am having trouble reproducing this problem.  In particular I'm not seeing 
"add-to-cart_blue.gif" in either the rewritten or original versions of your 
page.

But I would ask you to upgrade to the latest version.  We've fixed a lot of 
bugs since the version you have.

Sorry i had mod_pagespeed turned off, i have tried upgrading but still having 
the same problem i have left it switched on for you so you can see the issue i 
am having.

Yes; I see it now.  This bug was fixed in an earlier release.  Your 
X-Mod-Pagespeed header still says you are on    0.9.1.1-171.  The latest release 
is 0.9.1.10-250.

If you upgrade this problem will be solved.  Good luck and let us know if you 
need further assistance.
