Helpdesk

This Plugins Gives assistance to people by linking them to a given wiki and telling the maintainers what needs to be updated on it.

Commands

Channel and PM Commands

• !help [topic] - Prints a link to the topic and pms the user the first paragraph from the wiki
• !list - Prints a list of pm and channel commands

PM Only Commands

• !email - sends an email to helpdesk with your message (not yet implemented)

Usage

help

To use the bot either message it or ask in channel

To get a list of commands

<butlerx> !list
<butlerbot> The commands are !cmt, !helpdesk, !chair, !secretary, !treasurer, !pro, !events, !admins, !webmaster, !fyr, !help and pm only commands are !email

Configuration

channels

This option contains a list of channels that the plugin should respond to commands it defines.

channelsToExclude

This is an array of strings that the command should ignore commands in. Only used if the channels option is set to 'all'

channelsToJoin

This is an array of channels that the bot should join.

wiki

This is a link to the wiki that the bot queries.
