A new Pull Request was created by @jan-kaspar for CMSSW_8_0_X. It involves the following packages: DQMOffline/Configuration @cmsbuild, @dmitrijus, @vanbesien, @davidlange6 can you please review it and eventually sign? Thanks. cms-bot commands are list here #13028 |
+1 |
The tests are being triggered in jenkins. |
This pull request is fully signed and it will be integrated in one of the next CMSSW_8_0_X IBs after it passes the integration tests. This pull request requires discussion in the ORP meeting before it's merged. @slava77, @davidlange6, @smuzaffar |
It was never reverted in 81x right? So this PR should only exist in 80x? |
@dmitrijus As far as I know: yes. |
@jan-kaspar could you confirm things are ok in 81x by posting a link to relval plots? |
@davidlange6 Sure - how can I generate relval plots? |
they are generated for you in the relval process. is no one looking at ctpps data in relvals? (which is the cms standard validation procedure)
|
No, I'm afraid. Where can I find more information about the "RelVal" process? In particular on what we (CTPPS) are supposed to do. Thanks! |
i’m sure @dmitrijus can point you to the details..
|
OK, I'm waiting for @dmitrijus 's reply. |
Hi @jan-kaspar, we produce relvals for each pre-release to be looked at by validators from each group and report in valDB and fill report in valDB. General instructions for validators are here: This page is accessible from the main PdmV twiki: Let us know if you have specific questions on how to start-up with validation (we can continue on this or a separate thread). |
Many thanks, @fabozzi ! I think I will have some more questions, but will send them in a separate thread after I manage to read the instructions stored on Indico (currently unavailable due to maintanace). @davidlange6 I'm not sure this is what you wanted, but let me try: |
