Hi @BrinleyL, We recommend that you update conda to the latest version so that you can take advantage of recent improvements that make solving faster. You may need to do an intermediate update to version |

I can only directly close the terminal and open a new one. Then, I tried to install other packages and it produced the same errors.

Additional Context
I might mess up with conda and perl when I tried to install vep directly (without conda). After the direct installation failed, I decided to install ensembl-vep by conda. Then, I install/remove it multiple times by conda because it didn't work. I checked the similar posts online and tried to fix it by myself. I even tried to remove some duplicated perl5 folders, but things got worse.
