Creates a mapping between SVN revisions and git's imported commit hashes. To run, use: cd $GIT_DIR map-svn This will output a map between SVN and git by parsing git's commit descriptions. You can also check for missing revisions in your revision map by providing a local SVN repo directory. cd $GIT_DIR map-svn missing $SVN_DIR revisions.missing will contain any revisions that were in SVN, but weren't mapped to a git commit. You can have missing commits for the following reasons: - Commits on deleted branches. git ignores deleted branches, so any commits involving them will not show up. - Null commits. Commits that don't have any changes that were relevant to git are ignored. SVN properties, empty directories, or cvs2svn-related commits. - Incomplete SVN repository. These won't actually show up, but it's worth pointing out: A SVN repository at a subdir will only have a subset of the total revisions for that repo, so if git-svn clone was ran against a different directory, git may contain unmatched commits. Ideally, if SVN_DIR points to trunk and your git svn clone is up-to-date, you should have no missing commits.
