grunt-netdna

Grunt plugin for interacting with the netdna API

Getting Started

This plugin requires Grunt ~0.4.1

If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:

npm install grunt-netdna --save-dev

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-netdna');

The "netdna" task

Overview

In your project's Gruntfile, add a section named netdna to the data object passed into grunt.initConfig().

  netdna: {
    invalidation: {
      options: {
        zone_id : 'XYZ',
        type : 'pull|push|vod|live'

      files : [
        { src : "file1_path"},
        { src : "file2_path"}

Invalidation Options

invalidation.options.zone_id

Type: String Default value: none

A string value that identifies the zone to see invalidations.

invalidation.options.type

Type: Enum Default value: pull

Represents the zone type

invalidation.files

Type: Array Default value: []

Array of file objects to be purged from the cache for zone zone_id

Usage Examples

Default Options

In this example, filename.txt is to be purged from the cache for zone zone_id of type pull

grunt.initConfig({
  netdna: {
    invalidation: {
      options: {
        zone_id : '123',
        type : 'pull'
      }
    },
    files: [
      { src : 'path/to/filename.txt'}
    ]
  }
})

Contributing

In lieu of a formal styleguide, take care to maintain the existing coding style. Add unit tests for any new or changed functionality. Lint and test your code using Grunt.
