The next release v2.0 of Cobra will be Python 3 compatible and v2.0 would be released soon on GitHub. Most of the Cobra v2.0 APIs are similar to Cobra v1.0 but there some minor features missing in v2.0. The changes from v1.0 would be ported in the next Cobra releases on Github.
